People with primary hyperhidrosis may experience excessive sweating even during fever. This is because fever increases the body’s internal temperature, and the body struggles to keep the temperature from rising to dangerous levels. It is crucial to consult a doctor if the patient is sweating excessively for a longer time, as persistent fever could be due to a more serious underlying health condition. - Anxiety

Secondary hyperhidrosis refers to a condition in which a person suffers from excessive sweating due to an underlying health condition. A person getting a stroke may experience hyperventilation, chest pain, and cold sweats. People who have secondary hyperhidrosis may sweat profusely. Hence, it is vital to keep a close watch as the patient exhibiting these symptoms might be experiencing a stroke. - Neuropathy
